Located in Bucharest (Romania), this shopping centre with approximately 200 shops and 70.000 square meters was inaugurated in 2006 and has had 2.8 million visitors during the four months after the opening. This shopping centre, eco-efficient, with a unique design, brings together several brands, some of them introduced to the Romanian market for the first time, creating a unique space which combines leisure, sports and entertainment.

Simultaneously, ParkLake adopted sustainability as a critical factor for its development, seeking to continually reduce its environmental impact, through an efficient use of resources. This effort was acknowledged, having earned it a distinction at the Forbes Green Awards, in the "Green Strategy in Developing and Operating Shopping Centres” category, as well as environmental certification BREEAM, the most important environmental assessment and classification of buildings in the world.

River Plaza Mall was the first Romanian shopping centre to obtain a "level B” Energetic Performance Certificate in a scale between A (high efficiency) and G (low efficiency).
